NAPLES -  Reg Buxton is a successful Naples businessman ready to inspire people in the community to get involved with their schools as he vies for a seat on the Collier County School Board.

     Buxton, a civic leader who serves on 10 local boards, said he knows the people who will contribute and he knows how to motivate them.

 "You sit down with these people. You say, as a community, we've got to give back," said Buxton, 66.

 "These kids are trying to read. They're really trying, but can't make it. Would you come in and read to them?" Buxton said. "That's what I bring."
